[mhhym] Download Bannetters fonts from Ingrimayne Type

Image
Designed by Robert Schenk, Bannetters is a display font family. This typeface has two styles and was published by Ingrimayne Type . Bannetters Bannetters (Banner Letters) was designed to alternate two letter sets. Both sets are formed on parallelograms, with one set of parallelograms sloped upward to the right and the other sloped downward to the right. When alternated, the result is a zigzaggy line of text. In applications that support the OpenType feature contextual alternatives (calt), the two sets of letters are automatically alternated. The Bannetters family has two styles, one with straight outer edges and the other that rounds these shapes for letters that have curved exteriors. Both styles are largely monospaced and monoline (not to mention weird, strange, and unusual). The tiling pattern of text created by Bannetters makes it attention-grabbing and appropriate for signage, posters, advertising, and other uses where eye-catching text is desired. Bannetters Download

[malzt] Download Undulated fonts from Ingrimayne Type

Image
Designed by Robert Schenk, Undulated is a display and novelty font family. This typeface has two styles and was published by Ingrimayne Type . Undulated Undulated is similar to the typeface Undulate. Both alternate two sets of characters to form a wavy line of text. This alternating is done automatically in applications that support the OpenType feature contextual alternatives (calt). However, the peaks and valleys of the wave are in the middle of the characters in Undulate while in Undulated the peaks and valleys are at the right and left edges of each character. The waves in Undulated seem more chaotic and less soothing than the waves in Undulate. Undulated has monospaced and monoline letters. The letter spacing is tight to accentuate the ripple pattern. The family includes an outline style that can be used in a layer above the regular style to add color.  The unusual patterns that Undulated gives are eye-catching and may be useful for advertising or signage and in other

[klvur] Download Knitmap fonts from FontHaus

Image
Designed by Christian Belanger, Knitmap is a display, display serif and pixel font family. This typeface has four styles and was published by FontHaus . Knitmap The design of the Knitmap font family was inspired by a logo stitched on the elastic band of a pair of shorts. This was at the time when Flash was very popular with its usage of bitmap fonts, especially Miniml’s fonts. Having that in mind, I saw the grid on which the logo was stitched on. So I decided to scan the logo and recreate the whole character set starting with the available letters (“P”, “R”, “O”, “D”, etc.). After that was done, I modified each letter in its grid to make it more of a custom job. When I was first designing the font, it was called “Prodige 04, a grid based type experiment”, because I wanted to do 4 weights (which I finally did). The font took me an additional year to complete. [csmfe] Download Municipal Pool JNL fonts from Jeff Levine Fonts

Image
Designed by Jeff Levine, Municipal Pool JNL is a display and stencil font family. This typeface has two styles and was published by Jeff Levine Fonts . Municipal Pool JNL A photo of the now closed [circa-1953] Lowell Municipal Pool (at 1601 N. 28th St.) in Boise, Idaho shows the words “Municipal Pool” formed into the cement of the entrance to the above-ground swimming facility. Both the lettering and building entrance designs harken back to the Art Deco era and the sign features stencil-like characters.  This inspired a typeface aptly named Municipal Pool JNL , and is available in both regular and oblique versions. [qkufo] Download Morphica fonts from Shinntype

Image
Designed by Nick Shinn, Morphica is a display font family. This typeface has two styles and was published by Shinntype . Morphica This critique of the utilitarian is a perverse and disjunctive mash-up of thematic devices: sans mixed with serif, stroke contrast applied to techno armature, body parts displaced and elided. We are asked to admire the virtuosity that conjures the sweet spot where everything blends together into some semblance of legibility, but contemplation is disturbed by the transgressive nature of the proposition. [muvjc] Download Bihext fonts from Ingrimayne Type

Image
Designed by Robert Schenk, Bihext is a display and novelty font family. This typeface has two styles and was published by Ingrimayne Type . Bihext The letters of Bihext fit into the trapezoids formed by bisecting hexagons from the top corner to the bottom corner. Because these trapezoids have two orientations, there are two sets of characters and the typeface was designed assuming that the user would want to alternate these two character sets. The alternating of characters is done automatically with the OpenType feature of contextual alternatives (calt) in applications that support it. The typeface is monospaced with very tightly letter spacing. If the letter spacing seems too tight, consider alternating colors to make the individual letters stand out as an alternative to loosening the letter spacing. Almost certainly the user will need to adjust line spacing if more than one line of text is used. The family includes an outline style that can be used in a layer above the filled

[gwble] Download Lopsickles fonts from Ingrimayne Type

Image
Designed by Robert Schenk, Lopsickles is a display and novelty font family. This typeface has twenty styles and was published by Ingrimayne Type . Lopsickles Lopsickles is a family in which the letters are based on lopsided, distorted ellipses. The family has four sets of letters that are combined in six different ways, yielding six fonts. Four of these fonts (styles AB, Ad, Bc, and cd) use the OpenType feature Contextual Alternatives (calt) to alternate letter sets so that top-heavy characters alternate with bottom-heavy characters. The spacing in these fonts is designed for alternating characters and will result in overlap if the characters do not alternate. The other two styles (Ac and Bd) are spaced normally. Style Ac contains the two character sets that are top heavy and style Bd has the two character sets that are bottom heavy. The Ac and Bd fonts have italics and backslanted styles that may be useful to suggest speed. Each of these ten fonts has an inset style designed
